I grew up in Pennsylvania Dutch country, surrounded by traditional quilts - that's what inspired me to explore quilting. While I appreciate the beauty of traditional quilts I quickly discovered that I wanted to be closer to the edge - incorporating more contemporary techniques into my quilts, but still practicing quality construction. I love the challenge of quilting, creating something unique - the way I see things.
I live in Malvern, PA with my husband and have 2 daughters in college. I am as passionate about quilting almost as much as I am about all things food - making, eating , drinking, shopping (Buy PA Local - support your farmer's market). By profession I was a dietitian - that was a life ago.
