Watching Paint Dry

I have too much to do - I have no business painting furniture - I have no time to redecorate the sewing room - - - but, I needed it - I needed the diversion - I, I, I - maybe I just needed some my time. Nothing fancy - it all started with this new little cabinet I purchased at the last spring Clover Market in Ardmore a few weeks ago. Isn't it darling? My yellow globe looks so cute perched on top.

I wanted to put it on top of a dresser I use to hide my UFO's. It was boring wood - so, paint, French blue paint.I moved my sideboard to the corner - love the Truth quilt hanging over it.I use the pig pitcher for some of my knitting needles. Can you imagine milk pouring out of this pig's mouth? My mother-in-law used it at the dinner table for milk - to an audience of 11 children - imagine the comments! I think it works far better as a needle holder!Just having fun - Yikes - my thread obsession!I need a bigger cork board - next task - have to gussy up the frame of the bulletin board.Ahhhh - bark cloth - say hi to the fabric from my new window treatment. Its gonna look great with that French blue dresser. On deck - the next big project - a new quilt for our bed. Planning on using my Sliver Technique - getting excited about design!
